Dr. Barnett holds a BA in Fine Art from Vassar College, a MSc in Global Medicine from USC Keck School of Medicine, and is a graduate of the SGU Medical School as well as the Global Scholars program in England. She completed her Internal Medicine Residency in 2018, followed by a chief attending year at the University of Arizona in 2019. She is certified under the American Board of Internal Medicine, and Canadian certified under RCPSC as an Internal Medicine Specialist as well as a Fellow of the Royal College in 2019. Dr. Barnett has also completed 5 years of training in Integrative Medicine, including a 2 year fellowship with the University of Arizona Integrative Medicine Center, and is now board certified in Integrative Medicine through the American Board of Physician Specialties.
Dr. Barnett takes a holistic, least possible harm, evidence-based approach to each patient with the use of conventional medicine, diet, exercise, the creative arts, mind-body medicine, and whole systems medicinal principles. She strives to learn the physical, emotional and spiritual lessons of each illness, thereby working with the root cause and implementing sustainable healing.
